Here's the capper to my week away from crafting:
I made my first bottle cap embellisments! Yay! So now, in addition to the tissue paper, string, erasers, matchboxes, drink carriers, and muffin crumbs I'm saving, I'm now saving all bottle caps.
At first I thought the items I placed in the bottom of the caps would float around when I put the glaze in. Then, I thought the glaze would never harden. Then, I thought that when it DID harden, it would be all yellowy and stuff.
This is me, thinking on the bright side.
But, look! It actually worked!
Now, I leave you with a picture of my beautiful ranunculus, that's blooming like crazy. Just to demonstrate that nature still trumps art:
