I first heard about this when the author was interviewed on a podcast, and I was fascinated. Sure, it's three years old, now, but so is my underwear. The point is, it's timeless! It's fabulous! There is such magic, here! Ideas for projects, surely, but also, reflections on why we create, why we explore, and why we cherish our crafty lives. It's a small book with big ideas. And on those rainy days when you want to make something but have little inspiration, it is chock full of ideas you forgot you had. There's also a website.
It would make a beloved friend a wonderful Valentine's day gift. Put little post-its in the projects you want them to do for you. It's a gift that gives.

wish to extend their great appreciation of your wit and humour. Long live the Queen.
The problem with most craft projects is that once people have had the fun of creating them, they begin casting about to see whom they might GIVE them to. So, once the glue has been put away and the yarn snippets vacuumed up, there's still the ultimate and unsung victim, left staring at a pie plate that's been magically transformed into a yarnic God's Eye adorned with gold spray-painted macaroni, and wondering how long it must decently be kept before the donor will have forgotten about it.
Oh, Anonymous.
You scamp!
It almost sounds like you wouldn't WANT one of my proj...
